CERAMIC BRACES
Do you need braces but don’t like the looks that you get with them? Ceramic braces are clear braces that help to straighten misshapen teeth or fill in gaps in the mouth without gaining all the wrong attention. They are made up of tooth-colored ceramic brackets that adhere to the top of the teeth. In fact, the only difference between ceramic braces and traditional braces is that one is made of metal and the other is not. Just like with traditional braces, you will see the same results with ceramic braces. Plus, they are more durable and will draw little attention since they are close in color with your natural teeth, improving your smile and your confidence!
BAND & BRACKET ORTHODONTICS
Bands and brackets both act like anchors in the mouth that help keep the wires from the braces that run along the teeth secured. The brackets are placed on the back of the teeth, which is especially helpful for patients that don’t want their braces to be seen. As for the bands, they are placed on the back molars. Not everyone needs bands, but for those who do, it is important to take care of them, mostly making sure that they don’t come loose or damage the teeth.

Upon arrival, our awesome experience was continued by the greeting we received from ladies at the front desk.Once he was called back, the technician was very kind and personable. Dr. Shah came in and spoke directly to my son. I could see that he felt at ease. The doctor and the tech explained the process of cleaning and the tech let him feel that the cleaning wouldn’t hurt. He did great. I drove about 40 mins to get to this location but it was TOTALLY worth every minute and every mile. Would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of dental services.

I was a new patient there this past week and had one of the best experiences with the staff and the doctor! From the moment I walked into the beautiful office, I was treated like royalty! Everyone was so nice and pleasant. I came in for a cleaning and ended up needing some additional work, and the staff explained everything so I could understand and gave me every option for payment. It was just wonderful. Dr. Takla and the staff at Orland Dental Care really know what they are doing and helped me feel comfortable since I was very nervous.
